And, when you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.I would start this review with a quote from Alchemist ‘coz it is how it is :)Friends were bent on taking us to La Panier for some pastries and coffee (well let us call it breakfast :)We thought of starting up early .. since public parking is a tough find at Pike’s Place .. the next morning, as expected, we were like – what is starting early again?? 😀 ..But then the things happened in sequence as if we were destined to be there .. he he .. all the traffic lights were found green .. then we found a parking spot as soon as we reached .. as always the queue at the Bakery was a mile long but a bunch of peeps in our front were together and apparently they knew their order well .. in a jiffy we were at the counter. :)The food that followed after was to die for .. the mushroom puffs, chicken puffs, macarons, croissant with the coffee .. everything was really so good.It is no wonder that after nearly 2000 reviews they are sitting at such an amazing rating. The only concern that a few people might feel like is on the contrary a really good thing .. a long unending queue to the counter.Win it and the prize is absolutely worth it.Until next time then :)PS – okay !! I made up the traffic lights part .. but everything else is true 😉

This is an outstanding French bakery in Pike Place Market. The croissants and coffee were perfect for breakfast. Also has great atmosphere, art, and friendly staff!

Great bakery! The bread is so good and the macarons are cute! So many people are lining up when I am there. Nice place to go. Pike Place Market the best!

Large selection of fresh pastries, both savory and sweet.Seven of us tried a largenumber of offeringsand all were very, very good. The Peach Tart wasmy favorite…a delicate crust topped with a drool worthy peach and almond cream topping. The place was crowded with happy pastry participants. If you can’t find something here that rings your bell, you can’t spell sweet tooth.

A colleague of mine took me here last Friday for Coffee and dessert. It was a lovely sunny evening and being a Friday the Pike Place market was in it’s usual hustle bustle.I have been to Le Panier before but having been discouraged by the queue had retreated. We were fortunate given our early timing and we settled for Hot Chocolate , The Napolean, A piece of a pie and coffee. My colleague urged me to order the Napolean . He claimed that it was his father’s favorite dessert at this establishment and that I would enjoy it given my sweet teeth(Yes I said teeth). He wasn’t wrong, I did enjoy it but in full disclosure this dessert is best taken home and had for it can get real messy. It was hard to maneuver my way through this treat. I am not big on pies , I did taste a small piece and it tasted ok.My colleague was very happy with the latte art :). It’s nice to see people get excited about the small things in life. The drinks were good. Since it was a treat , I dont’ know what all of the above was worth.Le Panier is definitely a famous spot and people love it for a good reason I believe.I would want to go back and try more of their offerings but until them am a fan!!

The smell of fresh bread will invite you right inside the bakery The place was crowded and we had to wait for a while to order. We ordered almond croissants and fresh macarons. We chose chocolate, vanilla, passion fruit and pistachio macarons. They were a bit too sweet for my liking. The croissant was just yum! The butter and the almond cream blended well together. It was super delicious! musingsofaraccoon.wordpress.com
