Lecosho was an excellent dining experience. A very good selection of wines and a good menu. The charcuterie board made for a nice appetizer. We enjoyed the pork chop and halibut. Both were very good.

This place has been on my wish list for a while now. We had our dinner here today for our date night. Overall dining experience was really good as I love the relaxed dining environment. As for the food, the dishes we ordered was lack of taste creativity. We ordered the Seared Pork Belly with Manila Clams, which I found that the ingredients are not in harmony; all I could taste in the pork belly was salt. The Scallop Crudo is basically just the scallop served with Fresno chilies, pickled summer melon, and scallions but all I could taste is the stale scallop. The Grimaud Farms Duck Breast with Rosemary White Bean Pure is actually delicious and the only dish that I enjoyed. It goes really well with the rosemary white bean pure, stewed Walla Walla onion, Shishito peppers, fresh chickpeas and the use of huckleberry is actually brilliant to balance off the richness of the duck. We also had the roasted cauliflower bagna cauda which was disappointing as it was bathe with oil and salt. This is not a place that I will come back anytime soon but given the multiple rave reviews, I will come back again to try several other dishes in the near future.

My favorite hidden gem on Harbor Steps in downtown Seattle. Owned by the original founder of Matt’s in the Market – Lecosho always has a tight menu that doesn’t mess around with frills or gimmicks. The 1/2 # Painted Hills burger is to die for. Go now! thehungrydogblog.com

It was Seattle restaurant week that I first discovered Lecosho many years ago, and I always remembered it was a good meal.Returned for lunch and had the fish stew. An excellent delivery of a light-broth stew with generous amount of mussels, clams and shrimps with an elegant hint of garlic, basil and tomato. I could pick up the bowl and drink the broth! Instead I chose the well-behaved way of dipping their delicious soft but crusty bread to soak up the last drop of broth. My girlfriend’s tuna melt looked really appetizing as well.Until next time, Lecosho… doofniks.com

The service was great! We were there for the happy hour menu, the cheese plate was delicious! Apples, raisins, homemade applesauce with three great cheeses and bread with butter! We also shared the sweet pea ravioli, it was delicious, only a little under seasoned, but the sauce was good. The Moscow mule was great, though not served in a traditional copper mug.

Excellent!. My husband and I went here during our honeymoon, and we were NOT disappointed. Everyone visiting Seattle should come eat here. The grilled octopus is superb, as is there chocolate torte! Ask your waiter for help with your wine selection; they definitely knit what they have and what will compliment your meal!

A step above the rest!. Lecosho is a great secret spot on The Harbor Steps. I recommend stopping in for happy hour. They offer a european style cuisine and I love their spaetzel and sausage (very cheap at $5 and $7). Lecosho also has a great bar staff and their signature cocktails are worth a try. If you are downtown for the standard tourist traps — Lecosho is a welcome treat!
