Though the line is sometimes quite miserable part for some people, but I love to wait just for my fav. Food! I love eating their breads! Especially one of my favorites is their Smoke Salmon Pate!!!!!!! It’s a bomb taste! Love it!
Spent the day in Seattle and this was a wonderful way to wrap up our stroll at Pike Place Market. This place is out-the-door popular with its fresh and delicious pastries. They all have a unique sweetness to them that really defines their baking craft. The downside is that it is pricey for what it is and some of the portions are smaller than others. PS marzipan was great
I’m thinking of booking a flight back to Seattle just so I can get my hands on another smoked salmon pate from Piroshky Piroshky. Mouth-watering goodness! Worth the wait, worth every penny and worth the calories.
Long running Russian bakehouse serves the best baked goods in the Pike place area. Good luck finding anything as they usually run out due to the very very long lines outside which are rivalled by only the original Starbucks location next door.
The search for first Starbuck store led us to Piroshky Piroshky. And the long awaited Starbuck pushed us closer to this establishment. We opt for sweet and salty pastry: bacon and chicken plus oscar star. All to our likings.
Have to agree with a few other reviewers- I also wish there was a Lighthouse Roasters on every corner instead of Starbucks. I kind of accidentally discovered this place- I was driving by in the morning and saw a bunch of people inside and out and figured I should stop and check it out. The baristas are super friendly with very interesting shirts (think JFK riding a unicorn on the moon), and they got many comments by customers on their fashion sense! Also, it seems like they have a lot of regulars – they knew people by name on more than one occasion and remembered their drinks as well. The interior is very nice and cozy with lots of nice places to sit, and the coffee was great- very smooth. Pick up some coffee beans here for home. Pastry selection was fresh and good.
Such a long line once again but totally worth it. We ordered the Apple cinnamon bun, which was amazing as it had real apple pieces in it and just the right amount of cinnamon. In addition, the apples was thickly cut, making it crunchy and great to bite into. The pastry itself was a good price. Do yourself a favour and try this place out!
