Rise is FareStarts newest coffee shop located in the lobby of Amazons Houdini North building in South Lake Union. Open to the public, we offer a variety of handcrafted coffees, teas, kombucha and cold brews on tap. FareStart transforms lives through foodone person, one job and one community at a timeproviding real solutions to poverty, homelessness and hunger. Our foodservice training and job placement programs offer participants the opportunity to develop new skills and gain practical work experience in order to transform their lives, while contributing to the community at large. Rise is part of a paid apprenticeship program designed to help individuals take defining steps in their lives and careers on their journey to prosperity.
