Grungy interior and feel to this pub/cafe. Went there for breakfast and ordered the 5 point French toast. Those were good. I liked their coffee. It was smooth.
You can’t visit Seattle without trying a burger at 5 Point. Maybe it’s the friendly service or the grunge-like atmosphere but it’s differently a place to try. Many beer options. I have to advise that if dive bars aren’t your thing- maybe it’s best to skip this spot.
The burgers are fantastic. They really are. The place is a little divey, but the beer-and-burger fare is just amazing. The juke box in the corner doesn’t add to the ambiance. Plus it’s in downtown. Check it out for sure.
I haven’t had better burgers anywhere. I had the Hickory barbeque burger here and it was a challenge due to the enormous portions. The next day I had the chicken steak and some pork chops and yet again the taste was heavenly. The service is also really good as the people present really make you feel at home. Try the local tap beers especially the dark ales which go well with the steaks and burgers.
Friendly & quick service. Stopped in for an appetizer of nachos & beer. The beer was great no complaints there. The nachos had a lot of things going for them but they were a little on the greasy side. Will definitely go back & would like to try other things.
Diner fun of historic proportions. Just love the 5 Point. Up all night since 1929! Can’t beat the variety and hot food that hits the spot- sober or not. The Tofu Curry Scramble took me by surprise being a dry-style mixup rather than a saucy curry. The tofu and well-seasoned veggies satisfied my want for something healthy and I’ve made it for dinner twice since my visit. It’s been years since seeing this old haunt and so happy I made it back. Excellent service too, our server cracked himself up over our initial payment issues; he was pretty fun.
