Great food and huge portions. Loved the food and casual atmosphere. The owner came up and introduced himself and asked how everything was tasting. I learned they just took over the restaurant and it definitely shows. I will be back again!
After waiting for dickies bbq to open I have to say I was seriously dissapointed. The 1st time I went in I had to wait so long to order I left & the next time I tried prices had gone up by $1 across the board .I wasn’t impressed with the taste of the food & the portion size was seriously lacking for what I paid. Sorry bonney lake if u want great barbecue take a drive towards Shelton & try ranch house barbecue!!!
A mess of problems. We have been to Dickey’s three times since they opened, and each time was worse than the one before. The ordering setup is the worst I have ever seen anywhere. Once we waited for 45 minutes, another time, 35. Each time, the portion sizes have been different, and the quality is inconsistant. They also had an ice cream machine the first time we were there, that was broken the second time, and gone the third. The soap set up in the restrooms, makes it so that liquid soap gets all over the floor, which is terrible. My 5 year old nephew fell during our third trip… We won’t go back.I was so looking forward to barbeque in Bonney Lake, since the restaurant choices here are so slim. We travel to Barbeque Pete’s in Kent, or Warthog in Fife, and just didn’t want to have to do that anymore. I will be surprised if they last more than a couple / few years if they don’t get their act together 🙁
Flavorless lukewarm pork means no return trip from me.
Welcome to Washington State. I have know Dickeys bbq pit for many years, looking forward to visiting this location soon. They have been around in Texas since 1941, with over 100 restaurants across the US.
