I had the lemongrass chicken skewers with asparagus and Korean sauce. The chicken was perfect and the sauce had the perfect bite. Asparagus was a little over cooked, but good. A great dish overall.

Sevice unworthy of a tip. We went and saw a movie last night in one of Cinetopia’s Movie parlors (also not worth the money, but that’s a different type of review). Before the movie we stopped at Brewtopia and made a reservation for after the movie got out. After the movie we went to the restaurant and checked in, they weren’t really that busy, many open tables and only 2 groups were waiting. The bad service starts with them seating walk up guests before us and us having to talk to someone to get seated.Everything about our visit took longer than it should have. A nice gentlemen by the name of Bill said he’d take care of us, but I can’t say that we would agree on what that meant. Bill already new that we were off to a bad start what with the reservation thing, and at first I thought maybe things would get better. But they didn’t, every part of the service took way too long. Wait time to get our order taken, wait time to get the food out. I was only drinking water and they use small 6 oz. glasses half filled with ice. That didn’t last very long and no one ever, not once during the entire visit came by to refill my water glass. To me, that is a standard measure of service and is enough in and of itself to affect the wait staffs tip, but that was hardly the only thing, so there tip dropped to nothing by the end of the visit. As for the food, the duck quesadilla appetizer was pretty bad, wouldn’t ever order that again, which won’t be a big problem since I doubt we’ll ever eat there again. The BBQ burger I had was o.k., but the fries were luke warm and kinda soggy and limp. The wife had a shrimp penne pasta that was a little too spicy for her (would have been o.k. by me, so I don’t detract for that other than the waiter said it wasn’t too spicy). The pasta didn’t come with any bread, which in my book should be a standard with any pasta dish. When my wife mentioned it to one of the bus staff they said they could order a side for her. Given how long every thing else took, I’m sure she would have been done with her meal by the time it came out anyway. At the end of the meal she mentioned the bread to the waiter and in all absurdity, he asked her if she wanted him to bring some out now?On top of all the bad service, the prices are higher than they need to be for what your getting, not to an extreme, but certainly to the point that I didn’t feel like I was getting my money’s worth. They make all their burgers out of Kobe beef, not a huge fan one way or the other of Kobe beef, and frankly I think they could have done just as well with out it and maybe charged a little bit less for a freaking hamburger and fries. The only real redeeming feature of the evening was that we had a coupon for $12 off the meal and we had got the tickets for the movie parlor at less than half price. I would have been much more upset with both aspects if I had been paying full price.

Botch meal. Went to brewtopia had a good time watching a waiter run his ass off while the hostess and bus boys had no idea what they were doing. ordered 2 beers and a cheese plate 20 minutes later I got the order well I got the cheese and had to remind them of the beer. we made our order and salad and a sandwich not an impressive order but still an order. After drinking the beer and ordering another beer for myself, the waiter asked me what we ordered again (this is 30 minutes later by the way), then told me that someone else got our order ( ya the ladies next to my wife and I). We happily reordered no problems another half an hour and now I am going to get my own beer and some more crackers that I asked for 45 minutes ago, that is when the manager asked me if everything was ok. I politely told him the ordering issues when the waiter brings food to my table and yes its the wrong order however it is the ladies order next to me. the ladies next to us (my wife and )I laughed about it and the manger gracefully paid for our dinner. So the question is will I be back, Yes I will. Brewtopia is a new diner theater and it is going through a couple of growing pains no biggy I really like the atmosphere and the films. I appreciate the managers willingness to pay for our dinner. The only issue is that the waiter was understaffed and the hostess and busboys were highly incompetent. I look forward to a better experince the next time we revisit brewtopia.

Been here twice. Both times the servers have seemed relatively new. Great atmosphere, lots of tv’s, and a lounge area. Be prepared to spend a little time before completing your order and getting your food, but I think it’s because everyone is still learning everything. This place has great potential, but still has their training wheels on.

Wow! Don’t know whay to say. My husband and I walked through the restaurant (Brewtopia) before our movie snow white we arrived alittle early so we went upstairs to find such an elegant upbeat stylish pub/ brew dinning restaurant. We were impacted by the calm sense and innovative ambitions throughout. Only disappointment was a glass of wine not yet available. Comming soon we hope.

Cold Atmosphere & Big Al’s-like. Although trendy, there is nothing warm and inviting about Brewtopia. The slick atmosphere is quite unusual for Vancouver, WA: smooth surfaces, endless flat screen tv’s aligned over the bar flashing light into the space, LED picture frames with superhero imagery on the back wall. The color scheme is blue, which makes the environment feel very cold (even though there’s a gas fireplace in back) – unusual for a brew house where I expected warm oranges and wood. If you like Big Al’s, only trendier in feel, this is the place for you. The food was clumsy. My dry spinach in my salad was as though the chef took some spinach right out of the bag, plopped it onto the plate and added some hazelnuts, candied pears and overly massive chunks of blue cheese and a touch of dressing. My husband’s fish and chips plate had way too many fries. The onion rings were good. The positive part is that the server wanted to make sure we enjoyed our experience (and the manager too) since it is a new restaurant in town.Although the server was very polite, as well as the manager asking about our experience, I would not frequent this establishment again unless I had a sweater and was desperate for something to drink/eat before/after a movie at Cinetopia next door.
