Wonderful service and atmosphere! The food was incredible and huge portions for the price. I can’t understand why the rating is so low for this place. My southwest caesar salad and my husband’s fajitas were both amazing! Will return when I am in the area!

Great Staff. Even if I had hated the food here, I would return to this restaurant because of the excellent treatment and great service I received. I was staying at a nearby hotel, after flying in on a bumpy flight from the east coast with a tight connection, no time for lunch. I was tired, starving and irritable, but the hostess was so accommodating and kind that I cheered up considerably. I wanted takeout to get back to my room and work, but seeing how exhausted and starving I was, she brought me chips and salsa while I waited for my chimichanga to go. She also packed me up all kinds of extra hot sauces and I must say, that even in the take out container, the chimichanga was pretty darn good. The black beans were excellent and the Mexican rice (not one of my favorites at all) was flavorful and not mushy. Great service, I would definitely return again.
Order the tacos. Canyons is like the Southwestern version of Applebee’s with a more relaxing ambience. The menu is a cobbled together hodge-podge of routine restaurant fare–but with chipotle dressing. Nonetheless, their blackened tuna tacos are spectacular and their beer menu is commendable. I enjoy visiting this restaurant.
