Very average to poor. Didn’t start well, eventually we were attended to however staff chatting about their weekend should not take precedence.First course served, we then had to wait 10 minutes for two staff to find us cutlery. Not keen on eating with fingers.Second course, the Boilermaker, very average. Fries were cold.Will go to the Ranch Drivein next time, a better meal at a fraction of the price.Very confusing layout for first timers, we couldn’t tell which restaurant was which. Reading other reviews I see they have different menus and prices. Who knew.A lot of improvement needed.
Cute place. A little confusing to get into and find but once in – very nice. Service was good and food very delicious. I had a half serving smoked chicken salad which was a good size! It was very very good! Chicken was moist and tasty. Salad dressing was perfectly distributed. I would definitely return.
You should come here for the atmosphere, not the food. Come here on a date or with a group of friends. It is a wonderful setting. The problem is the food isn’t all that great. It isn’t bad, but it isn’t good. (Note there are several different restaurants within the McMenamin’s Bothell Complex.)It comes to you, and it looks really tasty. It always looks tasty. But no matter what you get, rather fish and chips, pizza, or a big burger, the food isn’t very flavorful. It leaves me feeling I ate a bunch of calories but didn’t particularly enjoy it.Things are overpriced here, but that is to be expected with such a nice grounds and setting. I would recommend again to come here with a group, but the food just sadly isn’t that good, whether it is a McMenamin’s in Oregon or this location in Bothell. Shame.
