We had lunch here during restaurant week and it was a winner. They had me as soon as I tasted the polenta tops with that divine sauce accompanying. I’d love to go back for dinner and wine/cocktails. My lunch entree was good too. My fish on my pita sandwich was moist and tender and the flavors were on point (although the pita was a lot of bread but that’s prob more of a preference). Good stuff.
Love the atmosphere…. Stop in for the first time to check it out. Loved the grounds, the building, the food on the menu and appetizers intrigued us, but the service was, well…no service to speak of. Friendly, but felt totally ignored. Oh well!
Lunchtime at the PK. My hubby and I are new to the area and have been on the lookout for a ‘knock your socks off’ place to eat. Well, I gotta say this is definitely one of those places! Seriously, It takes a lot to impress me and impress me this place did. Two orders of the fish and chips on our first visit, one with their signature potato chips, the other with French fries and both deep fried to perfection. No greasy mess, perfectly done all tender on the inside and crispy golden on the outside. Yes, I give this place a three YUMs up and we will be back to try more items on the menu and soon!
My husband and I are locals who have been there many times… the first 3 or 4 times was great, but since then the food and service has been mediocre. we would definitely go back again but we have to wait until they change their menu… we are ready for something new.
The best place for dinner in Kenmore/Bothell. Inventive! Local! Fresh! Interesting!
Disappointing and overpriced. Atmosphere and service were wonderful. Food was mediocre. Cocktail was watery. Mussels were overlooked and dry. Sauce for duck was cloying and clashed with vegetable. Chocolate mousse didn’t taste like chocolate. I won’t return
Four courses plus a very nice glass of wine each for a party of two at $100…awesome! Service was nothing amazing and I could do without appetizers. Ordered from the ‘fine dining’ menu and am looking forward to trying the variety of the cafe menu next time. Will definitely be back.
