Idaho Nachos are the best invention since fried cheese. Had these for the first time last night, why didn’t someone think to use homemade potato chips instead of tortilla chips on nachos before – absolute transcendent genius! My heart felt like it might explode afterward, but well worth it!
Great Place. Appetizers are very good, Idaho Nachos (made with homemade potato chips) are incredible, and BBQ pizza is also quite good. Alehouse salads are very well-made, just the appropriate amount of dressing on each bite. The Alehouse also has a descent kids menu. The place is a bit noisy when busy, which is good when you take your kids (if they are noisy like mine). The service is good and friendly, but keep in mind this is a small place and staffed accordingly, so when they are packed, the service may be a bit slow, but they are always friendly.
The Ale House salad with ranch is to die for.
Use to like this place and it’s casual environment. But went in for a beer with a girlfriend and after the bartender not acknowledging us for a while, he refused us service after one beer. Have never been refused service before and was not drunk at all. Gentleman and ladies beside us had 2 drinks to our one. We were both in shock and left humiliated.
Great pub food with pub environment that you can take the kids to. Good salads too. Chips and fries are equally good.
It never ceases to amaze me how poorly this place is run. The homemade chips are pretty good, but unforunately they can’t make up for the consistently poor service. Don’t go in with a large group. Very unnaccomidating and the inexperienced service staff is clueless when it comes to working the floor. The food is overpriced and average at best. Who serves nachos in a bowl? The only saving grace for this place is that it lacks any compitition in the area.
Small but great place. Good beer on tap and reasonable prices. The chips are AMAZING, especially the seasoned ones. Outside tables in back. It gets super busy so serivce can be a little slow. Overall it’s a great place.
