I used to be addicted to Lyon’s den but they helped me kick the habit a while back when I kept going and they were closed during normal hours or they threw away the bubbles.
Quality of food is getting bad…. I have been going to Lyons Den in Bothell for the past 2.5 years. The food was tasty and the ambience was pleasant. Though the prices were a bit steep for soups and sandwiches, I still bought them because the food tasted great and it was worth the money. HOWEVER, in the past 3 months or so, the quality of the food has taken a turn for the worst. I’m not sure what changed, but I can definitely taste the difference. The bread is burnt and the soup is watery and not at all flavorful. I will try the food couple more times, but if nothing changes, I might have to cut Lyons Den out of my frequented places, at least for lunch. Their coffee and bubble teas are still amazing as ever.
Just what Bothell needed!. Small-town feel, but choices that would rival an expensive Downtown niche shoppe. Fresh baked goods daily, homemade lunches, great coffee, and best of all, bubble tea! Almost every Friday and Saturday night they have live performances from local bands. Rooms are available to rent out for meetings. Wi-fi, games to play, books to read…it’s a great place to hang-out or do some work. The only downside is sometimes it takes a while to get your coffee, but that’s usually just because the place is busy with locals!
Great place to kill time!. They have the world’s worst air hockey table here – which, in my mind, makes it the BEST air hockey table in the world. Lots of board games hanging around, and a little stage for live music, etc. This is the kind of place the kids from Saved By the Bell would have hung out at if they were cooler.
