Good teriyaki (and other Japanese dishes) shop! My favorite dish here is the Teriyaki Salmon; the teriyaki sauce isn’t overwhelming, the salmon may even be wild catch, portions are large, and comfortingly satisfying. I don’t know how long Moli Bento’s been around, but in 2008 I wandered in here in a foul mood, as I’d just been diagnosed with a relapse of cancer at the old cancer treatment center on 16th. Moli was around in 2006, the first time I’d dealt with cancer, and it’s comforting, every time I pass by it, even if I haven’t eaten there in months. It’s still kickin’ and so am I!

Plenty for me, and the dogs!A funny experience here: I used to ask them at the counter for extra sauce because they only give you a little of their teriaki sauce in a small plastic bowl inside your styrofoam to go container. They would always look at me like I was heinous. But give me one. Then a couple times later they charged me $0.25 for an extra serving. Next time I realized it is the same sauce on all the tables, so I don’t ask them for extra, I just sauce it up before leaving from one of their tables. Still love it.
