Their service lacks any kind of hospitality. Surprisingly, it takes a while for them to bring out appetizers and your drinks, even if you’re the only one at the restaurant…Their smoked salmon doesn’t taste authentic. I would have to say their bento box is very salty, especially their teriyaki. I was very turned off when they sneezed and didn’t wash their hands, while making sushi. Don’t come here.

People w/ Groupon or any deals. I hardly ever write any reviews but this time I felt that people really should know about this place before going there…and if this restaurant ever runs another deal, just be prepared of their dumb business strategy…Like other customers with a groupon or livingsocial deal, the lady (possibly the boss) made us wait for like 15 minutes when the restaurant was only half full (which was only 4 tables filled). This really pissed me off because I felt that she treated us like this because of the groupon deal. It was obvious that she was trying to save those tables for other customers with no groupon? After 15 mins, 2 customers (apparently with no groupon) were seated right away and then she felt it was time to sit us.That was a very bad business strategy, whatever this lady/owner was thinking. Dumb! She didn’t seem to understand people w/ groupon or any sort of coupon are going there to TEST them out and decide if they are worth it! Sad! She totally wasted her effort doing this whole deal online.Tax (of the meal) was charged on the bill $3.00 as an item and then that $3.00 was taxed again on the tax section (pretty stupid, uh?) so that came out as $3.30. Since it was only extra $.30, whatever…I really didn’t want to tip them but whatever….they still got tips from us…And again the whole restaurant was pretty empty (maybe 5 tables filled) and this lady put us by the bathroom and right in front of the drink/server/kitchen entrance. Two people walked in later (and seemed like they got no groupon?) were seated by the window. Interesting, uh?Really, the food wasn’t bad at all but there are better choices out there with smarter owner/management and customer service.Will not recommend this place to anyone…
Yucki sushi. If you are into POOR service and mushy fish than this is the place for you. Don’t waste your money, honestly – we have made 3 attempts and disappointed EVERYTIME. Sad but true.
Finally!. This restaurant has gone through years of new owners. Helen the new owner finally has it right. Great service (I swear you go there once and she will remember your name) A great sushi chef that makes amazing rolls. I am picky and he has no problems dealing with my special orders. Good sishi and friendly service that is a winning combination!
