Delicious gyros. I love this restaurant. The same man makes my falafel gyro each time and I could eat here several times a week. The tzatziki sauce is very flavorful. The greek fries are tasty. Iwant to try everything! The gyro portions are decent and enough for one meal; I am more interested in excellent flavor than monster-sized portions. I moved down to Phoenix and have been trying to find equally delicious Greek food but no luck so far… Luckily, I am visiting the area and had to stop by, I am going back to try their fish and chips for dinner too. Yum!

Amazing taste of Greece in Des Moines!. Love, love, love this little place! The food is amazing and the portions are super generous. The owners are personable (they greet me by name!), the location is convenient, and the Greek music makes you feel like you’ve escaped to Greece! I recommend the beef souvlaki and the hummus–both are to die for! Definitely my favorite Greek restaurant in the city.
Great Little Place. I just discovered this new place in Des Moines WA called Spyros Gyros. My friend told me that I should go and check it out I was very impressed with the food and quality of service that i got from the young man who took my order. The Owners of the store chatted with me and thanked me for coming in. I would for sure tell my friends and family to go and check out this place.
Great food & atmosphere …. I came into Spyros for the first time this past Saturday. I first noticed the Greek folk music playing over speakers that could be heard outside; giving a great atmosphere for the restaurant. The folk’s who own the place, along with their son were all very friendly when taking my order and bringing out my food. I had the basic gyro sandwich and as you would imagine; it was wonderful. Long story short, I would totally recommend Spyros Gyros to anyone looking for great food, great service and a wonderful time.
