Have eaten here twice and tried four different dishes. The value is pretty good at $5-$8, portions are normal, and quality of food is good. I liked the salsa bar. The place is a little run down and dirty. Customer service was below average. On the first trip the employee taking my order barely spoke English making it hard to ask any questions. The second trip was a young alternative girl who did not know the menu, but she spoke English, was nice, but not personable. So in summary Good Food with below average customer service. I would eat here again.

If their Good wasn’t so good I would never go to this place. The employees are rude, short with u, and don’t care. Out of the 10 times I’ve been there in the last six months, I have had one young girl in the morning actually smile and have a friendly conversation with me. Other than that my experiences are like the one I just had, mumbling, shutting the drive through window when I smile and ask how her day is and rolling her eyes when I ask for salsa, and how dare I tip 20%. GASP. Ps the drive thru speaker is crap and you can’t hear a thing.

Similar to a taco truck style experience. I am not saying it’s mind blowing but it’s worth giving this place the business. How do you know it’s going to be good Mexican food? Salsa tells you many things. So they do have 2 salsas in their salsa bar that I would approve of.Beans are not from can and rice is fluffy. Will go back for the torta! A little pointers and cautions with Mexican food dining—-So this is the downtown location, not valley or north. it is downtown and therefore, transients will be coming in and out of restaurant. -unless your in someones home kitchen and they inherited the skills of making a relleno or you go to mexico, never order a chile relleno at most Mexican establishments. -Process of a tomatillo salsa, usually involves some form of chicken broth or chicken bouillon including either jalapenos, serranos, along with onion and garlic. it may be slightly salty. -if you are worried about the meat options stick with chicken or just beans for your entree-enchilada sauces or moles are never authentic, in my experience Finally getting a true Mexican food experience is really rare unless you were raised with the culture or lived in Mexico. I am highly critical in this department as I inherited the culinary skills of these dishes and I compare them with my families recipes. Nonetheless, I will give a try once in while but prefer my friends and families recipes.

Real deal. Somewhere in Los angeles there is a man stocking his food truck, headed to Wiltshire blvd inspired by the men at Atilanos, half shaking, half man how will he ever learn to throw good stuff. Atilano’s will treat many to something few evolve to prepare, every day of the week. You guys fookin’ rock!

Worst Mexican I’ve Had!. From Colorado origionally I have a lot of authentic mexican, and yes baja food. I am basing this off of the green chile and the rellanos, the green chile was much to salty, I had to stop after 1/3 of the serving and it had a lot of flavorless spice. The tortillas were not horrible but I expected a little better. Lastly the rellano, it was a reconstituted pablano that was not potable. I spit it out, tried it again and did the same. The salsa was not bad, very baja but not great. I would never eat here again, even if it were free.

Best Mexican Food. Coming from Arizona, I looked and looked for a good Mexican Restaurant and was always disappointed. Until I discovered Atilano’s! This is by far the best Mexican food in Spokane!
