Stay Away, Avoid — Entirely overpriced hit-or-miss pizza. After years of putting up with Beneditto’s, I finally had a pizza that was so disgusting and terrible that I requested a refund on my credit card — and was given a 30 minute run around and refused. Ordering from Beneditto’s is like playing Russian Roulette — will the dough be underdone or burned — will it be so salted that it could bring on a coronary? Most of the time, a pizza looks like it was assembled by randomly throwing on a fist full of ingredients. Thank goodness there are some awesome new pizzerias — and thank goodness I can vote with my pocket book. A group that meets quarterly and spends several hundred dollars on pizza and beers is meeting elsewhere. Only if the owner had been reasonable and offered what I requested.
