Awful. The cake of the cupcakes tasted as if it had been frozen and then thawed, not delish at all. I tried several different types of cupcakes and all were equally not good. The frosting tasted a lot like butter and not sweet at all!
I was told this was the place to go for birthday cakes, so when my husbands 50th birthday was around the corner, I decided to order his cake from here. Bad choice! I ordered a 2 tiered cake. We were having a party at a local restaurant, and I didn’t have time to tell them how poorly decorated it was. The staff at the restaurant thought that it was a homemade cake because of how sloppy it was decorated. It also didn’t have the best flavor. Sorry
Confused….. We got a box of these from a customer as a thank you. They were VERY pretty, a wide array of UNMARKED flavors. Some were rather obvious…one was, red velvet with cream cheese frosting. That particular cupcake I selected because I’m a big old Southern Girl at heart, and I was excited to try it….minus the fact it looked like a fairy farted on it (I literally had to wipe the glitter off of it). The cake was very moist but not a real red velvet flavor. The cream cheese icing was WAY too sweet. Creamcheese icing should have a twang of tartness to compliment the deep, rich cocoa flavor of the cake. Both were missing.I tried another cupcake…however, I couldn’t tell you what flavor it was because it honestly had not descernable flavor. The iced topping was wipped and extremely light and airy, almost melt in your mouth delicious, but that was the only thing saving the cupcake. Finally I tried a third, I thought it would be maple, because it smells like maple syrup, but again, there was no decernable flavor to the frosting or cake. The cupcakes were moist but dense in a spongy sort of way because they are moist, which isn’t a bad thing, but they lack in flavor so they killed the experience.Would I buy these for myself or kids? Not likely. The attempt was there, but if they were to enter Cupcake Wars on Foodnetwork, they would go home in round one, the tasting round.
Delicious. Best cupcakes in town, always a treat!!
So Good!. I’ve yet to have a cupcake that I haven’t loved! The creativity that goes into their flavors, along with the quality, is a delight!
Love this place. The cupcakes are so good got a dozen as a gift for v-day could nt have been happier so many cool flavors. You should go on cupcake wars!
Specialty Cakes. This was my first time at Celebrations bakery. I ordered a Denver Broncos cake for my husband’s birthday. When I came to pick it up the cake was ready on time and was better than I expected. It was delicious and not expensive at all! (Only about $30) I will definately be going back for all my birthday cakes.
