Perfect Diner breakfast! Love this place… The food is fantastic, the service friendly and it’s such a cheerful atmosphere! Best hash browns in town – fresh potatoes and crispy. Yum! Worth the wait!

Classic great diner food. One of my favs for breakfast. They carry Sonnenbergs sausage too, which is a plus. Way better than the typical Longhorn stuff. Spokane icon

Complete Let Down. So sad. My family use to go there all the time under the previous owners. We tried it out under the new owners and I wanted to cry because the caf has lost its luster. The cook was nice and the food was ok but the wait staff was AWFUL!!!! Sat there for 15 min before having any contact with anyone! I was looking forward to sharing this experience with my now growing family but was disappointed and I will not be returning.

Biscuts ‘n Gravy. I’ll rate the biscuts and gravy at a solid 7 out of 10. Customer service is great, atmosphere was one of contagious friendliness. Prices are just the higher side of reasonable but not bad. You get what you pay for.

Nothing but great things to say. My family and I went here for the first time today and we loved it. My hubby got the fried steak breakfast ($9) and he is quite picky however he was VERY pleased with his. I got the basic eggs hash browns bacon and toast breakfast ($8-$9?). They did my eggs perfect I asked for over medium and believe it or not so many places cannot get that right but the cook got them exactly how I like them. My bacon wasn’t hard and crunchy like most other places and my hash browns were also very good. My daughter got the kids meal hamburger and fries it was a lot of food like what you would get if you ordered an adult meal from other places only for about $5. It only took about 10 minutes for our orders to be done and I loved the retro feeling of the place. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by both wait staff and the cook which made me feel very welcomed. The waitress was very nice and was exactly how I like them to be I hate the ones that will wait til you take a big bite and come and bother you to ask how the food was. So basically everything was just right for us we had a great family meal for a small price. I would definitely recommend this place and we will be returning.

Great re-opening. I’m so glad Ferguson’s re-opened after the devastating fire! The Ferguson’s owners did a fantastic job with the restoration. I ate breakfast on the morning of the Garland Street Fair. It was busy. But the two servers were attentive and nice. All of my needs were met in a: friendly, timely and courteous manner, even though there was a line for the doors to open at 8 AM.I had a Tiny Tim, which is a lighter portion breakfast. It was good. It wasn’t greasy. I can’t say it was outstanding; but what I ordered was so basic; no eatery in the world would merit an outstanding if they served that dish.Mostly, I’m glad the owners were able to save a Garland District landmark. Unlike the Milk Bottle, which also saved a Garland Landmark, the service at Ferguson’s is excellent. Unlike the Milk Bottle, Ferguson’s savory foods are good. (If you go to the Milk Bottle; go for the dairy desserts; they ROCK!; eat your entree somewhere else). The only thing the Garland District is lacking to become a truly awesome date night area is a nice, reasonably priced, sit down dinner restaurant. Something like Cafe Italiano would be perfect!

JUST WHAT THEY CLAIM TO BE!. Ferguson’s is just what they claim, a fast paced, pleasantly noisy cafe/diner type eating establishment featuring excellent food, fast and exceptional service at a reasonable price. It has limited grill space so it might not be the best choice for diners with extreme food sensitivities because of the possibility of cross contamination between food types on the grill. However for people wanting a reasonably priced generous well prepared and quickly served meal, I would highly recommend it.The most impressive thing to me was ALL of the staff seemed to really serving the customers and working together. Having HAPPY servers and cooks enjoy their job is so rare and moving. They go way beyond being cheerful and polite to the customersWhile I found the noise level a little high, I found the dining experience to be very enjoyable and will definitely return and recommend Ferguson’s to anyone looking for a great place to eat.Watching the cooks work and interact with the counter customers was nearly as unusual as seeing ALL of the staff enjoying their jobs and serving their customers.IT CERTAINLY BROUGHT BACK WARM MEMORIES OF OTHER SMALL, WORKING CLASS EATERIES FROM THE PAST.
