The food served at this small diner is good and the service is efficient. I am warmly greeted upon arrival. I have enjoyed my meals here and all of the small side salads. Both the spicy chicken teriyaki and pork bulgogi are nicely seasoned and prepared well.

One of Spokane’s Secret Gems. Drive right on past the Zip’s, the Sonic, and the strangely placed Dutch Brother’s coffee hut right in the middle of this parking lot, and park your keester in this tiny little Korean gem instead. Chong makes absolutely delicious food, all from scratch, and it is loaded with flavor. The entrees are wonderful — the bulgogi, the jap chae, the bibimbap, and the sizzling galbi. Don’t forget to try the seafood pancake. But the best part are the side dishes — banchan, I think they’re called. She seems to keep her tasty standards on the menu, like the kimchi, the tofu, anchovies, and seaweed salad, but she’ll often also throw in something interesting and different. Go surprise your taste buds if you’ve never had Korean food; and if you’ve had it in the bigger cities, you’ll be pleased to know we have a strong candidate here in town to keep your Korean cravings satisfied.
Best in town hands down!
Meh.. I’ve gone to Kim’s a couple of times and can honestly say I wasn’t impressed. The service is okay at best, the food tastes like MSG, and the side dishes are pretty bland. There are better places to go in Spokane, especially if you’re familiar with how Korean food should taste.
