Love this place! The maple bars and croissant are to die for. Also love the creamy homemade tomato soup! The staff are friendly and the restaurant takes you to the cute cafes of Paris.

Lunchtime Treat. Lunch on Tuesday, June 3 at Madeleine’s;Let me start by stating my top 3 qualifications for a great meal.1. Great Service2. Comfortable & Clean3. Delicious FoodThat’s right, service for me always trumps the food. Even if I have a great meal I will not be back if the service is poor. For Madeleine’s I was impressed with all three. Not only was the service excellent thanks to Alex (great job!) but we were comfortable while enjoying a delicious meal. It is at the most unexpected opportunities that we encounter the most wonderful surprises. Can’t wait to take my friends there. P.S. Don’t worry about the picky palette, my son has autism and still had a great meal thanks again to Alex making his special order painless. Keep up the great service and delicious food!

If you eat gluten free, Madeleine’s breakfast is great. I’ve really enjoyed the few dishes I’ve ordered. Lunch, on the other hand, offers very few GF options. I’ve gone 3 times for lunch hoping they would have something other than a couple of salads as options and have been disappointed. On a positive note, their coffee is great and they usually have a few GF dessert options.

Save Your Money. When will Spokane ever get a real pastry shop? Food is all premade, so frankly, overpriced. When I was there one of the sfaffs toddlers was playing behind the register, allowed to wander about. Tables were dirty and we were virtually ignored once seated. Had to clean our own table as well as remove dirty dishes, and the place was not crowded. Wont go again. I can get Costco pastries at Costco and rude service just about everywhere.
