Hit this place a few times a week. People and good are top notch. You can go as healthy as you want. I tell just about everybody about this place. Beats any chain any day hands down. If you live in Spokane and haven’t Neato-d you are missing out.
Cool and Pretty Good. First, I love the people and place. Every single person I’ve met from there has been completely awesome, whether it was me going in there to eat or them coming in to where I worked (when they were on business). The owners have created a culture of friendliness and caring that can’t be denied. On top of that, the place is just super cool with art all over, the velvet paintings being particularly cool. They could be serving smacks to the face and I’d still go in occasionally just to hang out. It’s at times a bit funky there, with torn seats and a bathroom shared with a bar, but I’ve never felt it was unsanitary related to food handling/prep or anything like that. It’s just a funky sort of hole in the wall, so be warned.The first time there I went a safe route, getting a pretty routine burrito. It was huge, and had some good flavors, but overall was a bit… um safe… which may be just as much my fault on that regard. Props for having Tapatio, though, the only respectable in-the-bottle hot sauce.The second time I went in I got nachos, or rather shared them with another as they were giant. Very good. And cheap. The kind of nachos you go back for, especially if it’s late or you’re a bit buzzed, but neither is required, as I’ve only been in the middle of the day and it was still good… but man, almost WANT to go out and drink just so I can go to Neato Burrito for an I’ve-been-drinking-and-am-now-ravenous meal.The good to cheap ratio is off the charts. Especially when they were offering a discount if you rode your bike (which was totally awesome of them to support bikery). Good food, good times, worth checking out if you’re not too uptight.
Favorite burrito in the world, favorite staff in the world. The tofu is the banginest I ever did have. Nick is the best and handsomest burrito slinger bartender in da universe. Magic happens here, love is borne, excellency flows.
Love love love it!. I love this place, FANTASTIC vegan burritos, love the owner he’s a kool cat! You HAVE to try the vegan nachos, your taste buds will thank you!
Have had better. The scent at the counter of the choices for your burrito smell great, but when I bit into it I was expecting explosion of flavor especially with the options I was given. I will have to say their habanero salsa was perfectly spicy. Zing! I have tried it without their habanero salsa and it still could improve in flavor.
Tasty burritos…. The Thai Burrito is awesome. I got one last night and before I knew it I’d pretty much inhaled the whole thing- which is amazing, because they’re pretty big. Also, it’s the Baby Bar, which has the most awesome jukebox ever.
The food was darn tasty, and the gent working (Michael) was damn helpful… good food & good tour guide info. I’ll be back.
