Stout was pretty good. We had lunch here on a chilly rainy day. Mac and cheese was ghastly and very salty. Burger just eh! Disappointed.
No-li, ????? i, yi,yi —-. Beer was good, service good, food not so much. two different burgers, a reuben, and achicken meal- would not recommend any!! marble rye-super dry- burnt really!! all meats really dry. food weak!!! beer good!!! oh— did i mention, no pickles for your dry burger. a beer only stop!!!
Worst customer service, no lie. We held a going away party for a co worker here with a group of around 25 people. As No li Brewhouse does not take reservations we called ahead both 2 weeks in advance and a day in advance to notify the staff that we were coming. As the party was on a Wednesday night it didn’t seem to be a problem, at least that was the impression the staff gave over the phone. When our group began to arrive we were told by several members of their staff including their manager Curtis that they could not possibly accommodate us all and that we should probably just leave. Let me repeat that, a restaurant told a large group of well mannered, paying customers to leave their establishment because it would be too much work for them. Seems incredible right? Well, we chose not to leave (though I wish we had) and instead went about accommodating No Li’s staff by walking to the bar and ordering/paying for our own drinks and sitting in smaller groups to order food. Heaven forbid we actually expected the wait staff to…ya know…wait on us.In the end the party was not nearly as pleasant as it might have been without No Li’s staff trying to push us out the door. The food is mediocre and bland and the service is lacking is every aspect. Save your money and your sanity, go somewhere else.
I Tried. I really wanted to like this place. I really did. The decor is very cool and there’s a nice little section outside where you can sit by the river. The beer selection is good if you’re into IPAs. I gave this place two chances, ordering two different menu items on two different days of the week. The food is very mediocre. Think Sharis or Denny’s. Some menu items may have items made from scratch, but that doesn’t mean they’re any good. The service each time was awful. Waited 15-20 minutes for drink refills once empty, and about 35 minutes after we were done eating for the check.
Great Lies on Tap. I won’t beat around the bush. I love No-Li. This place is fun to sample the beers, kick back with a little nibble and appreciate the local signficance this place is building. They’re doing some great work (especially with the Spin Cycle Red) and making sure the food is good too. I just can’t stop coming back or at least ordering my fave No-Li beers at other establishments. It’s been a long time since the service was an issue so no concerns there anymore. Must have the right staff on deck these days. We noticed their majority of brew types are IPAs, available in stores or in-house and found out it’s because that’s what they like to drink themselves. That’s cool. IPAs and ESBs are not my taste but there is so much to offer here I’m happy no matter what. On the patio. Watching the river run by and the Spring temps keeping me warm. With a Spin Cycle in hand.
Visited with my mom and a friend the other day and was pretty disappointed. The service was really bad (it was a monday, early afternoon). My mom wanted to eat first, then sample some beers. We waited a very long time for our food to arrive and then were basically ignored for another 1/2 hour AFTER we were done eating. Then we were presented with the check with no opportunity for drinks! By that time we were ready to leave anyway. The food was also disappointing. My mom had the philly cheesesteak sandwich. It was very bland and dry. The fries were ok but kind of soggy. My friend and i shared a plate of nachos (added chicken for FIVE DOLLARS!) and they were some of the worst I’ve ever had. The chips were all stuck together because the cheese was completely dried out and over cooked. The chicken was dry as well, with very little flavor. NOT worth $10 at all! This was the third time I’d been there and it was by far the worst. The food has been good in the past but I hadn’t been there in about 7 months.
