Their beef rice bowl is to die for! It’s something about that red ginger. You’ve never tasted anything like it. One of the best places in Spokane.

First time in Spokane and stumbled on Nudo walking through downtown area. Ramen is one of my favorite dishes so I decided to try it. The atmosphere is great when you walk into this restaurant. Kinds of gets you in the mood right from the start. The food was very good and I was fully satisfied after the meal. I also tried the chicken gizzard and lamb Yakitori and was super happy. Customer service was great and it was a good experience overall.

I mostly get the Tan Tan Men entree here. It’s spicy chicken noodles and I love it so much I usually drink the spicy broth at the end. Rice bowls are great and get the Ramen Burger for an original meal that will fill you up . Overall great place with friendly staff.

Excellent line of gourmet ramen with fresh ingredients and spices to match. The joint is very hip, definitely a modern decor and somewhere people of young and old could eat at. The location is appealing near the Davenport as well as shopping. This seems to be the new era of Asian soups and twist of flavors. This definitely fits that idea. And yes, there are abundant of these kind of restaurants in bigger cities. But then I have to remind myself this is Spokane, not Portland or Seattle.

So good!. Nudo is awesome. I’ve been quite late in getting around to going here and now I can’t wait to go back. The menu is simple and great, the service is awesome too. The look and feel for the space is unique and such a detour from what Spokane’s used to, I found myself just looking around and wanting to take pics of everything. Going at 630pm on a Saturday night might not be the quietest time, but it’s nothing but fun and boy, do they know how to turn tables in this place! We tried three types of Yakitori, all excellent. The little sticky rice rolls are really a cool thing. If you like the rice candy with edible paper, this is almost a bigger, softer version and you don’t have to beg your mom for them! Loved the bacon-wrapped scallops too, the bacon is perfectly crispy. If you order one of each type it will be $30 and I’m actually considering that for my next trip. This time we had the Tonkotsu Ramen and Curry Udon. Though the udon noodles are easier to eat, I recommend the Tonkotsu bowl. The flavor is just so much more satisfying, semi-familiar like a fancied-up chicken noodle soup and just better. I have my eye on Tan Tan Men per a friend’s recommendation, and I love things with peanuts/peanut sauce so anything related to that are up next. Word of warning- these bowls can come out very very hot and hold the heat a loong time, don’t burn your tongue like I did. Don’t let it scare you away though either. This place rocks.

Can’t wait to go back. Great fun decor and atmosphere. Felt like the restaurants of Europe with bench seating. You will get to know your neighbors. Great menu, but I wish there were more choices without beef. Shared the sea bass appetizer. Pricey. $12. It was okay, but not memorable. Came with delicious edamame with sea salt. Very good. The chow mein was excellent, but I was a bit surprised that it had peanut sauce. Everything being served around us looked fantastic. Will go back soon.

All About the Broth…. First of all, this is not my kinda place. I’m a big, ugly gorilla that does not fit in well at ‘young’ places like this. But with my lovely wife, oldest daughter, and one of my sons I was able to blend in this time. I’m very glad I did. They were excellent. For the few that actually read my silly little essays, you know that I’m a pho freak, so enjoying a Japanese soup offering is not a reach to figure. Every broth I sampled was excellent. And that leads me to believe that whatever they create–soupwise–might be the same. Isn’t that what it’s all about at base level to succeed in a noodle house? I had the Curry Udon, and it was uber savory, spicy but not overpowering, big soft udon, and had a surprising amount of tender beef in it. Perfect for this time of year. There may be some who find the menu to be a bit pricey, but you need to take something in context: …this is Spokane. If they were in Portland, Seattle, San Fran, they would easily be twice the price, if not more. Portions were very filling. And what a bonus to look out the front window to see the beautiful Davenport Hotel. Yes…this big, ugly gorilla was very impressed with this place…
