Excellent bar food and ambience. The Peacock Room Lounge only offers drink specials for happy hour. There is a happy hour website for Spokane that states the Peacock Room Lounge offers half off appetizers. This is incorrect. If you go to the Peacock Room for happy hour, you will pay full price for food. Its not the Davenports fault. Its incorrect reporting by another website. The current food at the Peacock Room is better than I remember it being when the hotel first opened. My husbands sister treated us to the Palm Court Grill (another restaurant in the Davenport) in 2011. If my memory serves me right, the food at the Davenport has gotten much better, since then.My husband had their French onion soup and loved it. We split an appetizer sampler. The sampler was most yummy and filling. The only issue I had with our food was my sour cherry salad. The sour cherry salad was tasty However, the portion was so small you could have fit into a single scoop dessert cup! I paid $8.00 for a vegetable and fruit vinaigrette (no meat or seafood) and felt ripped off! Otherwise, I didnt mind paying a bit more to dine in the Peacock Room Lounge. After all, how times do you get to dine in a bar that has a dropped stain glass ceiling?

Great drinks, great food. Peacock Room and Palm Court could become a second home, along with a great stay at the Davenport for a weekend event. On the way to a party, this was the perfect stop for some soup, salad and quiet. Turkey vegetable soup was clearly homemade, and I love their salads. Yes it’s overpriced for everyday visits but it’s the Davenport. Just love it, enjoy yourself and make a point to come back not too long from now.

Good drinks, not so great food.. Drinks were good but very expensive $10 each. Even by Washington DC standards, I thought that was high. Had the worst ever tempura appetizer. Indelible. Soggy green beans and hard sweet potatoes coated with horrible breading, NOT a batter. Crab Louie salad wasn’t bad, but tomatoes were hard. Waitress said she’d remove the appetizer from the bill, but when it came, it was still on it. We had to point that out and she did remove it and apologized. Not sure I would recommend the place.

Cocktails Anyone?. This is my most recommended place in Spokane for a cocktail and conversation. You can actually hear your friends and what they have to say about your stupid ideas, which can be a good and bad thing 😉 Love the apps and the Key Lime Martini is my fav drink on the menu.

Asian chicken salad was good. Friend had the French dip and it was fatty and gross.
