Excellent. First time to this restaurant. Second time to a Vietnamese Restaurant. Can’t remember the name of the other restaurant, it was on East Sprague. Pho City is far and above better. We had the Pho City Special and a pork bnh my sandwich. Both were excellent and tasty. Really liked the sauces they served with the food. We will definitely be returning.
Pho-tastic!. I have been there twice in the last couple of months for lunch. I thought the food and the service were very good. Vina is still my favorite Pho place but this one is pretty good.
Feel the pho love. Love my pho and these guys do it right. Awesome appetizers and a wonderful limited menu with perfect options. Great lunch for under $15, and conveniently located for lunch. Stop by and support these guys. You won’t be disappointed.
Just Try It!. The waitress will tell you all about it. I went in today for my very first pho experience and not only was she pleasant and knowledgeable, but the food came FAST. I wanted something spicy that would make my nose run… I got it with the Sriracha sauce.
Nice new place. I really enjoyed my experience at Pho City. the staff were attentive and very informative about the food, even asking if i had ever had the cuisine. they were very willing to explain anything i had questions with, i felt very at home. food wise, i have never had Pho before, but i found this to be delicious. i also had the spring rolls for an appetizer they were incredible i loved them. i also had the vietnamese milk coffee. what can i say between the prices and staff and the flavors i will be back to try other dishes.
Fantastic New Restaurant. I had to make an airport run from North Idaho and on my return home decided to stop downtown to check out Pho City. I was very impressed with the service and food. I ordered the egg rolls which were delivered hot and in short order. Most folks not familiar with traditional Vietnamese food are unaware that egg rolls are eaten wrapped in lettuce. Helen, the owner had originally served these delicious rolls with lettuce but so much was left uneaten, she stopped adding lettuce to the plate. I would recommend asking your waitress for lettuce when ordering the egg rolls. You won’t go back to eating them without once you try it the traditional way. I would highly recommend checking out this great new addition to the restaurant scene in Spokane. The location is perfect for downtown workers. Helen, her brother and extended family are great hosts who want you to enjoy traditional Vietnamese food, which by the way, does not include mayo.
Delicious lunch! My husband and I shared a Pho City Special, which is a cold vermicelli dish with big prawns, grilled pork, fried spring rolls, and lots of fresh veggies, and a Banh Mi sandwich. Everything was well flavored, and the service was fast and very friendly. We will definitely go back again.
