Great chow, gluten free vegan and kid friendly. We had phad thai, curry bowl and wasabi ahi tuna. Everything was delicious – very fresh ingredients and simple but pretty presentation. We’ll be back for sure.

Keep Coming Back. This is one of our favorite restaurants in Spokane, the food is awesome! It’s kind of hidden, up in South Hill near a grocery store, but don’t let that fool you! You won’t regret eating here.

Return visit. We returned to Picabu Bistro after trip to British Columbia We had the angry prawns again. Then the creole salmon Caesar salad. The salad had smoked salmon crumbled up throughout the sald. One of the best salmon salads I have ever had.12 Aug, 2013Fantastic food and service !!!. We started with the Angry Shrimp—sauce was amazing!!!! Curry potato soup and gypsy soup were both great!! Then we had falafel wrap and chicken wrap. So good we are going back In a couple of days when we go back to Spokane !

I’ve been to this restaurant many times and have had great food. Each time I’ve come I usually bring friends because the food is so good. We order appetizers etc. The chicken potstickers are far better than he rest in my opinion. The calamari is great but I don’t care for the spicy crust that doesn’t stay on. My favorite dish is the curry bowl but the last 3 times I have been here its been awful. The first time it was off, the rice was 1/2 the portion and mushy. The pyramid didn’t even have a top and the cilantro was very sparse. This was for lunch and they were in the middle of a lunch rush so I just chalked it up for a one time issue. The 2nd time it was off, the curry was so overly spicy than any other time over ever eaten it. It was riddled with more red peppers than usual as well. I couldn’t swallow with out my eyes watering and choking. And the rice was again mushy. This was dinner time about 630 pm and it was moderately busy. The third time which is today, I came for dinner at 520pm and the place had just a handful of people, so not very busy at all. I was alone so I just ordered the curry bowl and no appetizers. The curry itself was great but the rice was again so mushy. When I brought it up to the waiter he agreed when he saw it, brought me a bowl of more mushy rice and said they had added too much water. When I say mushy I mean it was mashed rice in the bottom of my plate. Not one rice kernel was palatable. The waiter somewhat avoided table looking very embarrassed when he looked over or walked by. They should have just redone the whole dish. Instead they let me sit there with a pile of goo aside the wonderful curry sauce. He did take $2.59 off my bill however.Perhaps the fame of Diners Drive-Ins and Dives has played itself out. It seems their cooks need to pay attention and stop relying on their temporary fame for rave reviews. Three times of bad food in one place is enough for me. I don’t think I’ll be back.

Kid friendly and good vegan options. Our waitress brought us crayons and a coloring book immediately.Several good vegan options. We went twice during one short trip to Spokane.

Not good. Not terrible, but I won’t be back. Fire pasta tasted like they dumped in standard hot sauce – and way too much of it. Not so much ‘fire’ as overpowering. Wine was good – service okay.
