Enjoyable place to taste some fun Northwest beers. I tried and enjoyed the River City Brewing Bourbon Barrel Aged Vanilla Stout. I was with a large group of people (20 plus) and the server was very efficient and handled our group professionally and efficiently. I enjoyed the hummus appetizer and my Chile Verdi Stew. Others in my group seemed to enjoy their food too.
Had lunch today. I had the Saranac Burger with the house salad. WOW! I was not expecting such an amazing salad. It had apples and goat cheese in it and was outstanding!The burger was very good as well. It was a very filling meal. The Saranac is kid friendly and offers a kids menu. One of my boys had the Mac & Cheese. He loved it. The other boy had the Noodle Bowl with Chicken. He loved that as well. My wife had the Flatbread Pizza with the house salad. The Flatbread was good but she also loved the Salad!They also have a good selection of beer and wine.
The menu has many different options and is good for taking a group of people who may want different types of food. I would suggest getting the pretzel appetizer. The different food we have gotten have all been good.
I’ve been here twice now. Great atmosphere along with good food and drinks. Both times however the service has been bad–the staff seems distant and irritated when you ask a simple question. Might give it another shot
Best vegan mac and cheese in town!
Service needs help. Pretty good food but my god, they need to take the hipster stick out of the servers and bartenders rear. It’s always slow service with a lot of attitude, I try the place ever few months thinking that maybe they’ve hired people who care about customer service… then get one drink ordered and by the time it comes with the grumpy bartender I’ve already decided not to order another one.
I was not impressed and frankly very disappointed. We had made reservations for a group of 10 for a birthday party. They did not have our table ready at the time of the reservation. Our waitress was very rude, service was terrible. If you had a bad day I don’t care, we are paying you to do your job. I will not be coming back.
