Delicious, home cooked food! Local art covers the walls, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the servers are super friendly! I stopped by on my way through town because the Davenport Hotel recommended it, and I loved it!
Some awesome eats here. We don’t eat downtown often but this one of our top spots to get some grub. I usually go for the biggest meals they got! 😉
Great service and Amazing food. This is good ol’ fashion service. The staff knows the locals and welcomes the new faces as they walk in. The food is prepared with care and they dont skimp on the good stuff. Very nice find in downtown Spokane.
Hells yes.. Everything at the Satellite is freaking delicious. If you’ve had a long night in Spokane and need some food, go here. Eat a burger with a fried egg on it. Get some waffle fries. Whatever it is, it will probably be awesome.
Pulp Fiction. Yes, the drinks are decent and the food IS excellent and cheap, but unfortunately this place also seems like a theme park for thugs on drugs, wannabe gangsters, and ruffians with something to prove. The bouncers are worse. Dine at your own risk, just keep in mind that should you end up getting into it with some spun out kid with daddy issues, you won’t be getting any help from the staff.
I have worked in the food service industry for about five years now, and my boyfriend and I love finding fun places to eat. The satellite diner had a fun atmosphere, but we haven’t had service that terrible in years. Our server seemed to nothing right. He stood behind me as I ordered so I had to crank my neck to look at him, then he completely rushed my boyfriend as he tried to figure out what he wanted to order. He also interrupted him to yell back to the kitchen. He couldn’t remember who ordered what plate when the food came out even though there were only three people at the table. Seriously!? Then the check didn’t seem right and when we asked about it he was confused and unhelpful. We gave him 25 dollars for a 20 dollar ticket and he didn’t ask if we needed change, he just never came back. Oh and when he wasn’t being a terrible server I looked over and saw him grossly flirting with another server. The food wasn’t too bad but kind of expensive. I probably will never return though because of that idiot waiter.
By far a favorite. As an urban dweller, The Satellite is a beloved go-to, with their ambitious hours, yummy filling dishes, affordable prices, fun atmosphere, and hey, there’s even a bar! Pretty much all I could ask for.
