Cool concept… poor quality sushi.. This is a fun place to visit once… but I did not enjoy the sushi. I felt the sushi quality was quite poor. I probably won’t go back.
Quick and tasty sushi. I was impressed by Sushi Maru for what it is, a quick, inexpensive conveyor belt sushi restaurant.None of the sushi I tried absolutely blew me away, but it was all tasty. My wife and I sampled the hamachi, albacore, maguro, unagi, and surf clam nigiri, as well as two tuna rolls and a cucumber roll (tekka maki and kappa maki). The fish tasted good and equal in quality to most other local sushi restaurants. They were out of uni, toro nigiri, and udon noodle soup, which was a bit of a disappointment, but we were satisfied with what we had. Beyond that, we were greeted and seated immediately and our waiter was polite and eager to please.I would definitely visit again when looking for simple, quick, and tasty sushi for a reasonable price.
I no longer get sushi anywhere else. This place gets a lot of crap for keeping their selection out in the open on the conveyer belt. But truth is they execute the tradition perfectly. The food is always kept fresh. And with the price system, it’s the only way to really get your fill of sushi. Great place.
Best Place to Eat!. Sushi Maru is Amazing! The food is great and inexpensive which is a must in these hard times. The staff is very friendly, and i always feel welcome here. The track makes this place fun for my kids as well. Definitely my favorite place to eat!
We’ve been to Sushi Maru lots of times. The food is consistently good but not the best sushi we’ve had. There are definitely a lot of yummy dishes, especially the playboy and volcano. The seaweed salad is also very good. Bottom line, we always have a good experience here.
Notice the reviews…. What kind of people have to time to sit at a computer and complain about eating out? Seriously we are all people and are trying our best. If you’re THAT picky…cook your own meal.
