A good place. Not bad for a one time visit. I really liked the food and the fact that it came with huge portions of rice which was really filling.

I found 10 long pieces of hair in my food. I got the food to go, so I found them at home. I called the owner and told him and he called me a liar. I used to be a regular customer here, but after that horrific incident and atrocious customer service – I never went back. It’s been 3 years, still can’t get over it.

Worst Indian food. Indian food is my favorite and I know what is good and what is bad since i have been to so many different places before. This is the worst place i have been to so far! The food tasted like i was eating sand. When I found out that they put 100 different spices in 1 dish it all made sense. It was like I was eating spices by the spoonful! I couldn’t eat another bite and I definitely wasn’t going to pay for it either. The restaurant is also dirty, outdated and gross. It also seems like the people who rated it a 5 star is the owners friends. Everyone with a right mind rated it with a down thumb. Huge disappointment.

Great Food!!!. The food is spicy and full of flavor, the staff is polite, and the prices not too bad, but I think they need to refurbish/ redecorate the whole place, inside and out. It might sound shallow but first impressions are often the only ones that remain with us. I’m the kind of person that won’t let it keep me from coming back but not everyone is like me! 🙂

Still Doing a Good Job…. The original/first Indian restaurant in Spokane is doing fine. Honestly, it’s not my first (or second) choice for sub-continent fare in town, but I’ll never turn down an invitation from others to dine here. Their buffet is pretty standard, but they do have plenty of naan available, and everything else is fresh. One slight knock would be their lamb curry, which was…umm…chicken and not lamb. It tasted fine, and maybe they just grabbed the wrong sign today. It’s a good gateway drug for Indian cuisine for those who have never tried Indian before…
