As I have been told earlier this week by a marketing professor that bullet points would rather grab more attention than none. So, here I follow 😛 — Spokane has got just 3 Indian food places (including 1 in valley), I have been to 2- Taaj wouldn’t entice you, even a bit, by its ambience or rather anything not connected to food. It calls for an overhaul and I know it takes time & money for an overhaul but yeah it calls for it.- The vegetarian people might struggle here in terms of choices for mains, just 2 compared to a few more for non-vegetarians (this is vegetarian not vegan btw .. and I specifically mention vegetarian because there are still a lot of them in Indian community) .. but both those choices i.e. palak paneer and punjabi chole (chickpeas) were really really tasty .. bettering even the non -veg section.- The professor told us to keep bullet points short and to the point .. just saying while reading the above one .. 😛 .. damn !!- Surprisingly a lot of non-veg curries that day lacked a bit of flavour .. chicken curry, mutton (goat) curry, butter chicken and others .. the best was the goat curry masala .. others almost sucked, sorry but they did- The best part and the thing that was even better to a lot of restaurants even back in India were the breads .. the naans .. oh my word .. I don’t know how .. they were a 10 on 10 .. I could have said 20 on 10 but I have been a maths student all my life .. and there is no such thing :P- and then there were tandoori chicken, fish and chicken fritters (pakodas), spring rolls, as starter which were okay’ishAll in all, I loved their breads and the vegetarian stuff so much that I would gladly come over and eat. Wish they just concentrate a bit more on the meat curries so that they pack a solid punch and see people return more often.3.75 if somehow I could.
The greatest indian food I have ever tasted in my life. Friendly staff and great service, they have the best buffet with great selections. they change the buffet food to different kind of food every week, they always have special meal of the week. I love going there me and my wife.
