Long wait for no reason. Arrived 20 minutes before reservation and asked if we could start early – sat in the lobby for 20 minutes before being seated, no explanation, place was about 25% full with plenty of servers on the floor – food was good and rather pricey
Disappointed. Was very excited to try this restaurant for the first time, and sadly left very disappointed along with our entire group. We went on a Saturday night with a large group, but it didn’t seem too busy. We had two servers who only took our drink orders once, so we started going to the bar and paying for them individually before they asked us to stop doing that and to just ask them…which we did, and 2 drinks never came.Since we were celebrating a birthday, I was asked if I wanted to pay for a centerpiece with candy, a group picture, and four chocolate covered strawberries. I did, but the strawberries were never given to us, even after I asked for them. The entire ordeal took 4 hours because the waitresses took a long time to come back and serve us, and a whole hour for dessert, even though only 4 people ordered it.Maybe it would’ve been a better experience if we’d just gone as a couple, but felt they should’ve had a better system down, especially since two people were helping us.
Fun Special Occasion place! It is expensive, but fun to go for a celebration dinner. The cheese fondue is delicious, the meats are really fun to cook and mix & match with all the different sauces, and the chocolate fondue is to die for! Our family always has a blast and the service has always been good.
Love, love, love, love, love!!!. Awesome, romantic experience on Valentines day. The entire experience was great, the food was wonderful, and the dessert made the evening!
Ehh. Good service (though she though we were mad and sent the manager over). We did go on valentines day weekend so it was pricier than normal so I am not taking that into account. Cheese fondu was okay (FYI I love cheese) the salad was okay the main dish was okay. The dessert was awesome. If we ever go back we are just going for dessert and that’s it. FYI again Valentines 4 course meal plus 1 alcohol drink, one non alcohol drink and tip equals $201
My boyfriend surprised me with a romantic dinner at The Melting Pot. We had a private booth with rose petals all over the table and floor, champagne, etc. The food was great but the experience of having a fondue dinner was the best part. It’s a very fun experience and I highly recommend it. The service was great and we had a very special night.
Great great great staff, really helped us out and had a great time doing it. We had heard about this place and really wanted to try it. Was a touch hard to find in the building but once we did, it was worth it. Cook your own food, but the way it is done makes it a wonderful date night and intimate time.
