The only thing that got this restaurant 1/2 a point was that the service seemed pretty friendly. The food however was really bad. The fries and onion rings were borderline inedible due to being cooked in what tasted like grease that has not been changed in a month. The flavor was flat out disgusting. The menu looks respectable enough at a glance as it would appear some thought and craftsmanship went into preparing it. I ordered a very simple burger and it too was pretty disgusting. Clearly in an effort to save on food cost quality has been thrown out the window for frozen product. The burger patty was cooked well past well done, and the rest of the burger was very bland and unappetizing. I was very hungry when I arrived and am very upset I didn’t take the time to find something better as there appear to be quite a few other choices in the area.

We had a party of nine during our visit to the Onion and all were served well. The wait service was kind and had good suggestions. Overall the food was average and on the pricer side of things. In some ways it feels like a hometown Applebee’s.

Service and food was pretty good. They were super busy but able to get us in a decent amount of time (15min). Even though busy our server was very attentive and friendly. We plan to come back again.

We were a large group and we waited for 15 minutes while they prepared the back room. Service was excellent along with the friendly staff. Our server Meaghan was energetic and fun. The food came out pretty fast and was delicious. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Yummy!. We had the best server with the best smile & attitude on a very busy day. We had our seats in 15 min. I ordered the Philly sandwich…OMG! The best I have ever had! Well worth the price…I’m going back the next time I am in Seattle

Great Place,Great Service. We went their the night before Bloomsday. While most other area restaurants had at least an hour wait The Onion sat us in less than 20 minutes. We quickly realized it was because their service was amazing. The whole team was on it! Our food was fast, well prepared, very tasty and our only regret was we didn’t try the famous onion rings. Great fresh halibut!

Read reviews. Wish we would have read reviews on here before going here.I skimmed about 5 reviews. each of them were mostly negative and each sounded pretty much like our experience tonight. I really doubt we would ever go back. Over priced food that was ok at best.
