I absolutely loooooovee this place! It’s nice, it’s cozy, it tends to get a bit loud sometimes but it’s got such a cool atmosphere!! It’s a great little spot to either have a nice fancy dinner to celebrate that special occasion and without the huge tab. Or to just grab some drinks and appetizers and hang out with friends!! Whatever the reason, this little spot has got it all to cover your night out!

One of the best places in Spokane. You won’t find a better old fashioned anywhere in town. Menu options are great with good sized portions. Their rotating menu offers a lot of variety and options as well!

Stopped it for a drink and an appetizer. Online they say they have Gluten-free options but only one appetizer was GF once we asked them to hold the toast garnish. We had the maple bacon deviled eggs. The Deviled eggs seemed off in taste. We had a bloody mary and a screwdriver two classic drinks and both tasted awful. So strong and not well balanced. This place is trying to hard. They have oddball combinations on the menu.

The waiter was very nice and the food was very unique but delicious. I highly recommend trying the bacon wrapped bacon plate. Definitely coming back soon.

A friend took me to the Wandering Table for my birthday. They have a fun option called, You Choose the Price, in which you tell them the price range you want to spend and foods you might hate (so they don’t serve them to you), and they prepare 8 courses for two. They are all small to medium bites of 8 different menu items. It was fun but to be honest (and a word to the chef) 4 of the courses we were served had bacon in them. While I love bacon, that was overkill. We were first served the deviled eggs–to die for! The second dish was Crispy Cauliflower, also delicious. Next we were served Bacon Wrapped Baconamazing. It was served with an addictive jalapeno jelly that was the perfect complement to the bacon. Gazpacho was next, which was good but the flavors did not mix with the previous dish–quite the opposite. The asparagus spears with aioli came next, topped with bacon. These were cooked to perfectionabsolute perfection. This is hard to do. What a treat.Ham Pate followed this, and while the flavors were acceptable, I’m not a pate fan so didn’t have more than one bite of this. It reminded me of those horrid cans of potted meat my mother made us eat as a child, and it had the texture of Spam. The steamed potato followed and was delicious, but really, a plain old potato? I can get a steamed spud anywhere. Not all that inventive, and we chose a price range in the middle of the range so I guess expected more than 5 vegetable courses. Anyway, next came Table Jack (their unique version of Cracker Jack). This was very interesting, and I’m a caramel corn addict so enjoyed this–including the addition of sauted pork. The only drawback with this dish is that there was a POOL of greasy oil at the bottom of the bowl, which was kind of gross. Chicken Thighs came next, and the same problem existed in that the spices and flavors from this did not flow with the previous dish–quite the opposite. Having said that, it was tender, perfectly cooked and, if you like dark meat and Mediterranean spices (I don’t), you would no doubt enjoy these. My dinner companion devoured her portion. Finally, the Crme Brle arrivedalthough I was secretly hoping for the Green Apple Doughnut. It was also flavored with bacon, which was fun to try but I wouldn’t order it again. Wolf Lodge’s Crme Brle is perfection. We purchased coffee to see off the Brle, and it was strong and satisfying. Let’s talk about interior. Wandering Table is situated in the middle of Kendal Yards and the weather was perfect for sitting outside but we opted for the inside. There was an unpleasant, funky smell that I couldn’t put my finger on as we entered the restaurant. I also make a point of visiting the restroom especially the first time I visit. It was attractive and functional, but the trash was overrun and the sink hadn’t been cleaned in a long while. They weren’t all that busy so not sure who dropped the ball there. The interior of the restaurant is laid back, the music is jazzy and perfect in volume. This added to the overall experience. It was also fun to be able to see the chefs working while we waited for our courses to arrive. Moving onto our waitress, Stacy, she was polite and seemed to know the menu items well, but 3 of the 8 dishes were brought to us almost cold (should have been hot) so I wondered how long they’d sat there before she got around to serving us. She didn’t really smile or seem interested in conversation. Perhaps she was having an off night…don’t know. She wasnt rude or anything just seemed not really there that evening. Overall, it was an enjoyable evening and I’d go again, but I wouldn’t opt for the You Choose the Price item again. If you want to treat someone to a fun evening of good food items and lots of selection, Wandering Table is the place to go.

Yum. My husband and I had a great meal tonight. The food just kept coming with no end in sight. Each plate was different and had a lot of items we had never tried before but we genuinely enjoyed each one. The apple donuts were amazing and who knew eggplant could taste so good. Will go back again and again.

Left wanting more. Went in with high expectations based on what I had been told. Left hungry and dissatisfied. We went to another restaurant afterwards for a full meal. Will not go back.
