Has a variety of foods, awesome drinks and the venue is awesome. Great place for a party; private room with pool table in the back. Also a great place to watch the game.
Poor service and a boring menu that’s overpriced!
Great scallops!. We still haven’t found a favorite sushi place in Spokane, but this one is the best we’ve been to so far. Had a scallop dish that was delicious and two sushi rolls that were quite good. The service was going great. Brought out the scallops pretty quickly, but then we waited and waited for the sushi to arrive. Our server was very friendly, don’t know what the holdup was. This place has a huge menu, probably too large and, while it’s pleasant once you get inside, the entry looks like a disaster area. They need to clean it up. Plus the sports bar/sushi bar idea is a bit odd. They should probably just go with the sushi side. We’ll give it another try.
The restaurant used to be known as Raw. My girlfriend and I used to get the sushi there when we were downtown but it wasn’t our first choice. Then they changed to The Wave. The sushi is amazing now. The waitress said they are ordering a higher quality of fish now. It really shows. Love this place
Amazing variety, great value. I wasn’t a big fan of RAW, but I love the new format. I’m there once a week and am amazed at the quality and range of the food and how cheap it is compared to the other places in Spokane. They do a great job with Sushi Rolls, but really know their way around Nigiri too. The Sushi chefs are all Japanese (from Japan) and they buy their fish whole from the Seattle auctions, no pre-packaged fillets I’m there at least once a week and the lunch Bento is a great way to try them the first time. It’s also a great place to watch sports and there’s a complete Bar/Pub menu in addition to the Japanese, Hawaiian, Asian mix. Great burgers, charbroiled and tasty.
This used to be one of my favorite restaurants but the name has recently changed and it’s gone downhill. The food is amazing but the service is just plain pathetic. It took 15 minutes for someone to take our order, the server was hovering and made u feel completely rushed, we got dirty silverware, no plates to set our sushi on, and lastly, we asked for a box and never got it. I’m usually a pretty good tipper and even if the service is mediocre, I would leave 18% or so. Poor guy got nothing from us. Too bad the service was so disappointing because the food is just delicious.
Great atmosphere, good service, great sushi and fair prices. I would recommend this place for a date or just to hang with friends.
