My most favorite for breakfast. Any time you walk into a place and see all the old timer locals, you know your in the right place. The food is great and the waffles are the best I’ve ever had. All the syrups are homemade and the raspberry is my absolute favorite. The owner is there nearly every day, and always helping out the waitstaff while chatting it up with anybody who walks through the door. I love this awesome little local diner…..My favorite for breakfast.!.!.!
We just tried this place out, and we loved it! It had that small town diner feel, complete with a very kind waitress who talks to you and treats you well. The food was a great price for a big portion, and the eggs were a perfect over medium. I loved the waffle and raspberry syrup. I’d pick here over IHOP any day.
Great Breakfast. Great diner style food! This is one of those off the grid, neighborhood places that locals hang out at. You can actually order a well cooked, over easy egg (no small feat in most places). The biscuits and gravy is great, hash browns are buttery and chicken fried steak is amazing. It’s a diner and it’s diner food. If that’s what your after, this is your place. If you’re looking for an egg white omelet with spinach and an orange wedge…go somewhere else.
Good place to get a hardy breakfast after a night out and just having a big appetite. The food was ready very fast. A little more expensive than we were expecting but the helpings were large. Child friendly place as well 🙂
Very homey little shack that serves good food. Good waffle! Light and crisp. Eggs done a perfect over easy. Good bacon and cooked perfectly. Hash browns fail, had a strange, been sitting in the fridge flavor and were not well done as asked. Waitress recovered taking a buck off the bill. Will I eat here again if passing through? Probably.
No place better. I’ve know Dale since before he bought this place. He wanted to learn the personality of the place and its regular customers so he waited tables while the old previous owner ran the place. His style is the old man’s style perpetuated. That was between 15 – 20 years ago. Foods always top shelf and the service is great. Even on the busiest days when it is standing room only the food is hot and fast. Thanks Dale and everyone behind the scene.
Pretty good stuff. My boyfriend had breakfast (w/ waffles of course) and was fairly pleased…it’s kinda tough to mess up breakfast food….or wow anyone w/ breakfast food if you ask me. A waffle is a waffle is a waffle. I’m not a big breakfast food person so I had a tuna melt and I must say it did wow me. It must have been two inches thick–perfectly golden brown and with two different cheeses. yum!The staff was very welcoming…would recommend and will be going back.
