A bit farther away from the usual stacks of restaurants in spokane 😀 .. wisconsinburger was on my list ever since we moved here .. not just ‘coz they are quite talked about but also for the few options when it comes to vegetarian burgers. (and remember how people around me are vegetarians)Even if this place has good quite an area and seating, it is so easy to miss .. just tucked-in some neighbourhood in south perry district .. I mean the probability of me strolling past them is as little as it gets unless I live around.So unless you are from spokane or have been frantically searching for some good burger place Winsconsinburger might not come up in your list .. which .. is the bad part 🙂 .. ‘coz everything about them is really nice.The decor, food, service.Went in with full force the other day .. 8 of us friends and family :)The surprising part – only I was a carnivore .. and got myself a Wisconsin with salad .. well everything about the burger was good .. except that the beef patty needed a bit more seasoning. There was almost no salt pepper in there .. and some bites of my salad had a bit of mud 🙁 which is not pleasant.About the veggie burgers .. one is Madison with veggie bean patty and Ashland with a squash onion cheese patty .. both of ’em were good .. except seasoning (may be it is in our taste) .. the other thing is that back in India people are more exposed to a crunchy veggie patty .. like deep fried .. so the transition to a soft one takes a bit of time.Also, they have a wide range of dips, sauces kept in the front .. like wasabi mayo, ground mustard .. which is a nice addition and could give your burger a bit of variety in every other bite 🙂
