There are much better options (both pricing and quality of food) within a 2 mile radius. I am not sure how this restaurant is able to survive by serving such bad food. We had a groupon that was gifted to us which was valid for a weekday buffet so we thought of trying it out. The restaurant itself is very poorly lit and the furniture is awkwardly arranged. I don’t think the restaurant is properly ventilated. As soon as we stepped in it smelled like some rotten Indian food. It looked like we were entering an old basement with abandoned furniture. The ceiling had so many weird stains and holes. For a few minutes it was a little scary to be alone (there were no other customers when we went). The food is mediocre to worst. There is nothing noteworthy about the food. They will take their own sweet time to refill the food on buffet table. Chicken Biryani was never refilled all the time I was there. I would recommend going to ANY OTHER Indian restaurant nearby. Skip unless you want a terrible experience.
Bawarchi near Bellevue Crossroads mall is one of the good Indian restaurants in this area. The food is all around quite good – Biriyanis, Curries or Breads. The area they need to improve on his ambience and service. The interiors look dull and the staff is not very enthusiastic. The service was also quite slow and there was a mix up with our orders.Go if you only care about good food.
Pros : Value for money ( especially their Lunch Buffet). This is not a pricey Indian cuisine restaurant, and also not one of the best for Indian food. They do good job with South Indian cuisine, than the Tandoori and punjabi food items in the menu.Ambience : It looks a bit congested and not one of the best layout. They have recently opened a Chat corner inside the restaurant, called Chat ‘n’ curry which was earlier party banquet area. Just visited yesterday, and tried couple of items on the menu. Not an authentic Chaat experience and this location of the chat corner is even more congested than the main fine dining area.I think their USP is Biriyani (Hyderabadi style) and other south Indian food items (which has the Andhra flavors). So visit this place if you are looking for that. The staff is friendly and approachable but will need more improvement in their service levels. I feel their understaffed sometimes, by the delay.
Bought the chicken Tikka Masala last time when I visited. It was OK not typical indian taste . After asking to make it spicy it was sweet in test. Second time visited for parcel .ladies can’t handle the crowd at reception. Mistake in bill . Mistake in order. Can’t able to handle the phone order. Will not refer anyone to visit this hotel . Taste of paneer gravy was also sweet like Lassi.
