I actually came here a while ago but I’m just getting around to writing a review. The exterior of this place makes a pretty big impression when you drive up (it is part of a golf club after all) and the interior lives up to if not exceeds expectations. The terrace has a beautiful view of the valley and city below and the restaurant is nicely furnished. The food was nicely presented and the service was friendly. I ordered a mushroom burger which they out to be the best mushroom burger I’ve ever had. Definitely a nice place to come when you’re hungry after a game of golf.

While the view is nice- you will be stuck waiting an incredibly long time for bland food- we waited over an hour for a simple breakfast- only to then get the wrong breakfast that was also cold! COLD after and hour wait with zero apology or even the slightest regret for the insanely horrific service. We’ve been here before and thought maybe it was just a fluke but we come to this place out of convenience to our home- however with the wait times we might as well drive into Seattle and we would still be home sooner! Avoid this place- if the food was prepared well and the food was actually our within reason- I’d be much more satisfied!
View vs. Overpriced Food. I went to the Calcutta Grill for a family Birthday dinner.The View was great. The service was great.The food was cold – Salmon/Corn Chowder $9.00 and the Clams had a bitter tasting sauce $ 12.00. The Seafood Stew $29.00 was average. I will go back for drinks and the view but not for dinner.
Views, yes.. Superb views, yes. But we had incredibly bad service here two out of two visits back in 2007. We waited an hour for our food. In 2008, one visit with very good service. Sorry for the small sample size.
