We had gone to the one they have inside the Crossroad Mall for take out. The dishes looked nice but taste awful. The chicken pieces were so hard, I doubt they had cooked it several days ago. I would recommend this place for Indian food.
Visited several times to hotel for the company get together , everytime i visited for the buffet their is no option to order as an individual dishes. If we want to oder some dishes individually you have to choose from buffet menu. Other than this drawback, food is good chicken dishes I tried was good.
Oh! Indiafor a latebuffet lunch. They have locations, one inside Crossroad Malls food court, and the other one right outside the Mall as the full restaurant. Weconsidered coming here because we actually ordered a shrimp curry and fish curry from them one night for dinner and found them quite delicious. They came with regular rice which was good, and tamarind rice which was very salty.Well, we thought we could give them a chance for lunch as well. The variety for the buffet was fairly good. Naan was unfortunately very greasy, and some of the papadam was soggy. Their dosas had no filling. Oh! Indias chicken kabob had high cumin flavor and was very good; curry was not bad either; butter chicken was very sweet. Their chai was very astringent, andLipton-like black tea flavor. We got a hint to leave when they turned off the light on us as a signal; I would prefer them actually talk to us rather than having this feeling of passive-aggressiveness.Needless to say, our experience was so-so, and foodwas not as good as our selective take-outs. doofniks.com
Two families including 4 adults and 5 kids of age 8,7,4,2,2 had Monday dinner buffet at Oh India. While entering we confirmed elder kids will be charged at kids buffet rate and younger kids won’t have any charge. At the end we were given a check for 6 adults and 2 kids. When asked they said kids age is 3 to 7 and above 7 years will be charged at adult rate. After some discussions they agreed to take out one kids buffet for the 4 aged kid. Later while coming out we spoke to the guy at the entrance regarding what is kids age group they consider and he told 4-8. Then it was contradicting to what they charged us. Then the guy called the manager. He came and told kids age group is 4 – 7. Now we got 3 different definitions for kids age group. The owner was sitting inside hearing all the conversations. He didn’t come to interfere. We told manager that there is no integrity in their words and they even didn’t stick to what was told us in the beginning. He finally agreed to take out one kid buffet charge which we denied and asked him to keep it with him. Family customers, beware of this situation.
Food standards have gone down. We have been to this place this Saturday for buffet. Ever since then Myself and my friends are suffering from digestion and stomach flu.
If you are looking to have – all you can eat Indian food buffet for dinner, Oh India is the only choice available in Redmond / Bellevue / Seattle area. This makes this place unique. For lunch every Indian restaurant in Seattle area provides buffet at the same comparable price. For approximately 12-13 dollars you get a large spread of Veg & Non-Veg options in the buffet. My personal favorites are Hot Idlis, Pakodas , butter chicken here. These three are available pretty much on all days. There could be slight modification in the menu but 80-90% of the items served here are same every day.Nominal cost and convenience of buffet for dinner , makes it my choice for dinner if I want to try multiple items in Indian cuisine in just under 15 dollars per person.
Good preparation. Excellent and largest spread i have seen anywhere. Taste is reasonably authentic but can be better. Some items like gulab jamun were pathetic
