Haven’t tried this place for a while, so decided to go there on a Friday night. Did not have to wait long to be seated. We ordered the special package that comes with spicy squid, spicy pork, grilled mackerel, soft tofu soup and steamed egg. The squid was cooked just right, not chewy. The pork tasted rich and not oily.
Excellent food here! Ginormous portions, this is a great Korean restaurant, although it lost a point because it is pricey. Friendly staff though, and they have all the safety precautions in place since it is a Korean barbecue joint.
Please. Do yourself a favor and save your money. You’d be better off going to MacDonald’s. The service is horrible, the waiters are always walking around but apparently, if you aren’t Korean, you’re not anywhere close to getting humane service. The meat tastes barely acceptable, and the shrimp, I can’t even describe it, it just tastes like dirty would taste. I will never, ever come back here.

Anywhere but here. I warn you, don’t go here. Service is so bad. If you want to be treated poorly or ignored, go ahead. There is no reason for this level of service. The servers don’t seem to care. The bad reviews are all true.
Worst service in my entire life!. The staff does not know the meaning of service and should be out of business. Server never came to see if we needed anything after taking the initial order. We had to always wave them down if we needed anything. When they did bring more items we asked for, instead of clearing the old dish, they just placed the new dishes of food on top of the old used dishes! Couple of servers were chewing on food as they went by bringing food to other tables. Limited side dishes, couple of items usually served with meal did not come. We finally asked for them 3 times. It never came! And when we weren’t even half way through the meal, the server drops off the check and leaves. We were so shocked that we spoke with the manager and they apologized and offered us complimentary sodas but by then we were insulted enough. Finally our bill over $100 had mandatory gratuity tacked on for party of 7 on top of it. I’ve never written a review but this time, I just couldn’t get over it.
I tried this place for the first time. I’m always reluctant to try new places, but this was one of the best Korean restaurant on the Eastside! Finally, I don’t have to drive distances to get good Korean food! Had Soondoboo. Yum! Next time, I want to try the sliced pork, Korean bacon.
