Tried this spot for lunch. Lots of other options, so this has to be a destination for sure. Pretty spacious, it wasn’t too busy. I chose the almost Reuben, friend got the classic cheesesteak. It took quite a while to get the food, so it’s better to call in an order it seems. The cheesesteak was very tasty. Not overloaded, which would’ve made it better, the steak was nicely cooked, and the buttering of the roll was a good touch, as even the last few bites without steak were still good. The Reuben was a disappointment. The pastrami had good flavor, but it was tough. Not dry, but biting down would not cleave the meat in two, but rather you had to pull your mouth away to dislodge it from the sandwich. I want to bite down and eat, I shouldn’t have to gnaw on a sandwich. I would go again, but as I said, I’d have to be in a mood for a sandwich, and have called in first.
OK, could use better bread. I will preface this by saying that I have only ben there once. I did get there early to avoid the rush, and the person at the counter was very friendly.I had the traditional Philly steak sandwich, w/o peppers. It was, OK, the bread was NOT a hoagie roll, some sort of the soft, french roll you would get from Gai’s bakery. The filling was OK, supposed to be prime rib, it was very well seasoned, if not a bit over done.Expected, WOW, it was… just ok,Update… ate the cream cheese brownie, it was awful!

I loved the tofu rice bowl!
Definitely give it a go!. Sacks serves the best sandwiches. They’ve got grilled, fresh, make your own, paninis, rice bowls. Lots of variety and they do everything RIGHT. Great service and super busy during lunch rush. Try to get there around 11-11:30 for your fix or you’ll be waiting in line.
