This is my local teriyaki place, and I’ve eaten here many times.While I’m not sure I’d label it as amazing or outstanding, it’s definitely solid.I usually get the chicken breast, prepared spicy (I’m not sure this is actually on the menu, as the usual Spicy Chicken is not breast meat.)You get a fairly large portion (it used to be HUGE, but has gotten smaller over the years) and plenty of rice. The salad is your standard Teriyaki joint salad, though the dressing is quite good. Their Teriyaki sauce is also very good – sweet and tangy – and I always order an extra little tub.They’ve only undercooked the chicken once in 5 years, and only messed up my to-go order once in 5 years, so I’d say the quality control is great.The owners are friendly enough, and the place is clean.Recommended if you’re in the area.
My new favorite teriyaki place! Hooray!. I recently moved to within a few miles of Teriyaki Town II, and I am so delighted to have found it! It’s the perfect teriyaki: lightly seasoned grilled chicken (or what have you) over good rice, and excellent sauce on the side. Yummy gyoza, and a nice fresh salad with excellent dressing (also on the side). All for a good price! I’ve been a few times now and the staff is always very friendly, too. I’m thrilled, because I love good teriyaki, and I love that this place is close to home. YUM.
