Not Good Flavor. I’ve only eaten here once – but I ordered an item I’ve enjoyed at other Thai restaurants – the Lemongrass Chicken. The vegetable pieces were so big that it was really hard to eat, and the vegetables were not cooked well enough-very hard to chew…and the flavor wasn’t good.
I have been to about 5 other Thai places around Vancouver and I can honestly say that Thai Terrace is THE BEST in Vancouver. Hands down. I’ve had multiple items on their menu and they are all delicious. Very clean place and nice staff as well. You’re missing out if you don’t go.
Usually so good…. My husband and I have eaten here a lot, once a month for the last several years and have always been pleased. We went in last week and I don’t know what was going on, but it was awful. We ordered the calamari and after we each ate one piece we threw it out. The breading was terrible, more like something that would be on an onion ring, not what we have ever had on calamari before. Now, we eat calamari quite a bit, and I know it has a reputation for being like rubber bands, but never before had we actually experienced that before. It was just awful. I ordered the Panang curry and I usually order it medium spicy, but I was sharing with someone who doesn’t like spicy food, so I ordered it no spice. Well, it was hotter than I even like, I think they made it hot rather than no spice, again it was hard for me to eat, but completely unedible for my friend. My husband ordered the BBQ chicken, and that was as delicious as it always is. I hope that it was just a fluke, but I was so disappointed after looking forward to it and hyping it up to my friend and 2 of the 3 dishes were complete disappointments.
Service needs improvement. I had ordered then green curry with half chicken and half tofu. After my order was taken, the manager came to the table and explained that for $1.50 extra, they could do the half and half.I wasn’t wanting any more chicken or tofu that would normally come with the meal, but was still gonna be charged. I ended up walking out of this restaurant.

Really?. Not sure what was going on at this place. The decor was awesome and the food was very good, but the service was just weird. When we got there we were the only ones there so it wasn’t like the waiter had alot to do. We got our food at different times and the waiter seemed to pretend we weren’t there for the rest of the time. I might go back though could have just been this one server, I think a 7 year old could have done a better job.
Best Thai food I have ever had. I never liked Thai food until I ate here. My eyes and taste buds finally opened! I love the garden curry shrimps and volcano beef noodle. That is stir-fried rice noodle with beef and sweet chili sauce. SUPER YUMMY !!! My absolute favorite dish here. I brought my family here and they love the fresh home made Avocado Shrimp Rolls. Nice decor. Friendly staffs.
