Absolutely one of my favorite places to people watch because the crowd is so diverse and sit at the bar long enough and a staff member will strike up conversation. Table service is there on friday and Saturday notes, but with the added level of service us generally a larger crowd so I tend to enjoy the weekniges best. Agree it can be a bit loud when there is live music, but still awesome spot.
Killer Capitol Hill bar. I’ve been to this bar several times, and consistenly have a wonderful experience! The ambience is great, the drinks are fantastic, and there are always different types of people when I go. I also love the diversity here. I don’t know about you, but when everyone in a place looks like clones of each other, I want to turn around and walk out the door. I never have to worry about that here.Just one gripe: twice I’ve been and the music was too loud for a conversation. But that’s the worst thing I can say about Barca, and it’s certainly not enough to keep me away!
