I came here for sone quick breakfast, tgere where sone constrution outside so it was a bit dark inside but still charming.I hade a pumpkin spice latte witch was delicious and my frind had a cauccino and sone muffin. It was not cheap but still fair prices. The decor is cute and charming and i like the vibe of this place, the only down side to it was the barista was a bit rude and moody, nasty atiutde
Hands-down, my favorite macarons in the city! Love the cinnamon buns too (is that what they’re called??). Also can’t go wrong with the quiche. Delicious lattes. And it’s a sweet little shop…very French. Grab a window seat if you can! Love this spot! pineandcravebymackenzie.com
Lovely walla walla tart. Tasted like top of a French onion soup with a bit of ham. It was good. Price on tart was reasonable @6.99 but the small bottle of martinellis was also over three. You pay a price for being at the fairmont
Classic pastry shop tucked into a corner of the elegant Fairmont Olympus Hotel. Friendly staff. A big case of pastries and macaroons that make you want one of each. The plain croissant (Is that an oxymoron?) is perfectly brown, crispy, and delicious. The macarons are bigger than the usual with wonderful flavors. Prices are reasonable – actually a bargain for what you get.
French Zen. This is a wonderful, warm and delicious oasis in Madison Park. The smells are amazing as are the actual wares of the expert bakers. I especially love their pain au chocolat, the chocolate is dark and creamy, the crust has just the right ratio of butter to flake. Lovely layers, easily peeled until the chocolate is revealed. The coffee is very French and is the perfect compliment with the pastries. In addition to the yummy baked goods is a great food and gift selection. A wonderful place to watch the rain, embrace your book or just day dream about the next sunny day!
Portion sizes small, prices high, attitude poor. Too bad, because what you are served is of high quality.
