Incredible. Best croque I’ve had on Canadian soil. So glad we stopped in. Great space, every magazine in print anytime with a brain would be willing to read. Great coffee. Very pleasant experience

Best fries in the city! Plus tasty mains and well priced cocktails. A spot at the bar, on the patio, or by the window is perfect for breakfast or an evening cocktail. Go for the kir with St Germain or their manhattan which both coat under $7.

Fantastic experience here over a casual lunch & cocktail! Laid-back atmosphere, excellent pork tartine special, and quality craft cocktail. Will Definitely be back!

Let me start by saying: the food is always delicious. The Croque Madame is to die for, and the pastries are on point! That must be why I subject myself to the completely rude staff members that make this place the worst when it comes to service. Aside from the much needed attitude adjustment, the food is solid. Also, whatever you do don’t bring in coffee from the far superior coffee bar Stumptown, apparently Cafe Presse staff doesn’t play well with others.

One of my personal favorites! This is a sister restaurant of Le Pichet. It’s a much more affordable and laid back alternative. That doesn’t mean the food is inferior by any means. You get a lot of bang for your buck.I love the croque madame from here. I’ve come with friends multiple times here and have sampled a lot of other things from their menu besides my usual. I have yet to sample something I don’t like. The demi-poulet froid mayonnaise was another winner. It’s cold chicken served with an earthy cold salad of barley, brussel sprouts and mushrooms.Overall, a great place. I’m happy that they never get as crazy as most places for weekend brunch too!

Sweet Location, Good Food. I enjoy a restaurant that is open for all meals. You don’t have to worry about when they are open, because Cafe Press is open every day from 7am til late. They channel my internal Francophile in such a good way! I can have baked eggs and baguette for breakfast, Croque Monsieur for lunch, Roasted chicken and a bottle of rose for dinner, late night frites and pastis. The fare is simple and delicious.I like their location on 12th because it isn’t overly packed so you can find parking most of the time (but expect to pay), but you’re also close enough to the action north of Madison so you can walk to Tavern Law, D’ambrosio Gelato, and any of the Capitol Hill clubs.
