The small cafe is popular with visitors to the always-free Frye art museum on First Hill. The cuisine is somewhat limited and line can be long at lunch time, but it is a friendly, well-managed cafe.

The Frye Museum is beautiful and FREE so there is no better place to meet a friend for lunch or a cup of coffee. Eat at Cafe Frieda and then stroll around and see some of the latest exhibits. Great menu. Highly recommend!
Have eaten here several times, but in January had the opportunity to eat twice in the cafe. Sandwiches are always delicious and soups are great, Always clean and staff always very pleasant and helpful. Plus the Frye Museum is always free with free parking!!!
