I was ecstatic to try out a gluten free restaurant while visiting Seattle. Fortunately the food didn’t disappoint but unfortunately the service was terrible. It took awhile to be seated and we were seated in several small tables next to two other couples even though there were large booths open. It was very noisy being so close to other people considering the restaurant was nearly empty. Once our order was finally taken it didn’t take too long to get our food. Once we received our food however that’s where all service stopped. Nobody came by to check on us, ask if we needed refills and I also wanted ketchup. I had to hunt our waiter down for the bill, something you should never have to do. While paying I was finally asked if our meal tasted good to which I replied it was but that we had received no service. I advised the waiter that it was the worst service I ever had and he wouldn’t be getting a tip, I never not tip so that tells you how dissatisfied I was. He just mumbled that he understood but didn’t do anything to rectify the situation. Besides, it was too late, the damage had been done and I didn’t want to wait around any longer to talk to a manager. I was done with the whole situation. I used to work in the restaurant industry and this was far below my expectations. Long and short of it is, great food, but don’t expect service or a quiet meal. I can’t imagine what it would have been like if it was busy.
I’ve always shied away from gluten free eats (as I’m not gluten sensitive) but this place really does it right. Unique cider and cider cocktails, a beautiful interior, and all of the food I tried was divine! parttimetraveler.com
Incredible selection of ciders, most of them local, along with a huge assortment of all gluten free food options. The fried calamari, baked potato croquettes, chicken sausage and scallops were the standouts for me, but I honestly enjoyed everything. We also ordered the fish and chips (not every day someone gluten free can enjoy those!), chopped salad, squash salad, pork belly, and all four desserts. The service was exceptional, as were all the flavors. The entree portions tended on the smaller side, which was my only complaint. As for drinks, I’d recommend some of their berry ciders, and their earl grey cocktail was one of the most delicious and unique cocktails I’ve ever had. The place is incredibly charming on the inside…I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Seattle!! athingforwords.com
Absolutely awesome place for cider! Their cider flights are amazing, let’s you really get a chance to try a bunch, plus they come with a sheet that describes each one. The selection here is amazing though – any cider fans will love this place!
Great spot to bring gluten free visitors. Get some cider flights to share at the table and some small plates. Their take on grits is delicious!

Fabulous Food That Everybody Can Enjoy!. We LOVE this place. My husband and I are both gluten free due to gluten sensitivity – most of our friends and family are not. We rented out the lower level for a couple hours for my husband’s birthday and it couldn’t have gone better. Everyone raved about the food and had a fantastic time. We’ve been back since a couple of times and gone away happy with every item we’ve ordered. Potato Croquettes are a must have and the fish and chips, fried calamari and mussels are all excellent as well.
